I have recently returned from a 30 day ban, which according to the Modlog was because of “Rule 1”.

I don’t believe I had broken any rules and I hadn’t posted anything on the day of my ban or the days leading up to it.

Was I banned by mistake?

Looking at your post history, you’re a run-of-the-mill Liberal with a terribly-uneducated worldview who cries about tankies.

You’re going to get permanently banned from .ml in due time. Might as will register a .world account so you can be with your brethren.

Rule 2: Be respectful, especially when disagreeing. Everyone should feel welcome here.

So this was a delayed banning?

Complaining about communists doesn’t appear to be in Rule 1.

No idea, I didn’t ban you, but rule 1 is used in general for things like sexual harassment and dogmatic anti-communism.

I already had a temp ban for trolling in regards to the sexual harassment you refer to which was on lemmy.world.

This is nothing in Rule 1 regarding being anti-communist.

Rule 1 does include things such as racism, vote manipulation and Rule 4 includes spamming. I wonder why you were not banned for doing all those things.

Anti-communism is overwhelmingly tied to chauvanism, western exceptionalism, and dehumanization of the global south, so it’s tied in with “no xenophobia.”

If that were actually true then being anti-capitalist or anti-liberal would also be xenophobic.

Besides, I have only said things that are anti-dictatorship and anti-genocide.

No? Anti-capitalism and anti-liberalism isn’t based in dehumanization, but liberation. Opposing existing socialism usually relies on chauvanistic viewpoints eliminating any capacity for agency and self-determination in these democratically run countries by reducing them to “dictatorships,” as you say. Honest evaluation of socialism reveals comprehensive democratic structures, so to obfuscate that anti-communists rely on narratives like “brainwashing” to explain away popular support.

Your comments aren’t anti-dictatorship or anti-genocide at all, they’re just naked opposition to communists. That’s it. There’s no nuanced critique, just repeated bad-faith behavior like accusing users of having alts, or your own sexual harassment of other users.

Yes, I was warned for explicitly accusing people of having alts and was informed this is known and “bad jacketing” and stopped. I was warned for trolling you in a sexual manner on lemmy.world memes and stopped.

So why was I given a 30 day ban recently? You have been banned from communities in the past for racism and vote manipulation and yet you were not banned from lemmy.ml so it is difficult for me to understand what I have done wrong so I can avoid doing it again in the future.
